Operational and Organizational Design

We partner with you to design an operational model that serves as the critical link between your business strategy and your detailed organizational design.

 

STEP 1:  ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGY
First, we review your business strategy, business model and strategic goals in order to gain an understanding of how your organization creates and delivers value for customers.

 

STEP 2: OPERATIONAL BLUEPRINT
We collaborate with you to develop an Operational Blueprint. This document provides a high-level view of your operational architecture describing in detail, of each of your primary business units and their key functions. We help you define where, how and when the most critical work gets done.

 

STEP 3:  OPERATIONAL MAP
Finally we develop an Operational Register that maps out your critical business processes, tools, technology, information flows, essential roles and key relationships for each of your business units.

Business Process Lifecycle Management

Well defined and documented business processes ensure that employees understand how the work gets done in your organization and can consistently deliver on both internal critical business tasks as well as customer-facing interactions.

 

STEP 1: ANALYSIS OF BUSINESS PROCESSES
Using a customized Business Needs Assessment Questionnaire, we help you to examine, discover and diagnose process improvement opportunities.

 

STEP 2: PROCESS PLANNING AND STRATEGY
We will draft a Process Strategy Document that defines all of the requirements for designing, modeling, implementing and measuring your new or improved business processes. This document will also list any special considerations that may impact your process implementation such as compliance regulations, technology, employee acceptance, etc.

 

STEP 3: DESIGN AND MODELING BUSINESS PROCESSES
We work with your Subject Matter Experts to design and model efficient, clear and robust business processes.  More complex processes may require testing to ensure that all hand-offs and communication chains are effective.

 

STEP 4: PROCESS IMPLEMENTATION
All processes will be documented in a custom standard template and made available to your employees via online tools.  Employees will be educated on processes either through training or communication programs.

 

STEP 5: PROCESS MONITORING AND CONTROL

Post-implementation, process effectiveness will be measured through metrics, customer surveys and other monitoring tools.  Process owners will be identified and periodic process review cycles will be established to ensure sustainability.
